Pasteurization Plant

The transformative impact of Calor-e is vividly exemplified in our recent collaboration with a 30-ton/day capacity Pasteurization plant for milk production. Previously reliant on burners to generate steam, consuming 42 tons of coal or 23.5 tons of natural gas annually, the plant faced environmental challenges. However, with the integration of a 1MWh(e) Calor-e unit, a remarkable shift occurred. The adoption of Calor-e not only replaced the coal burner but also yielded significant environmental benefits. By preventing up to 113 tons of CO2 emissions, 1.4 tons of SO2 emissions, and 0.65 tons of NOX emissions annually, Calor-e emerged as a pivotal solution for sustainable and eco-friendly energy in the Pasteurization process. This transition not only showcases the immediate positive impact on emissions but also underscores Calor-e's commitment to environmental conservation and a cleaner, more efficient future for industrial processes.

Hospital Heating

The substantial impact of Calor-e extends to even the most critical facilities, as exemplified by a large hospital campus in Turkey boasting 2060 beds and a sprawling 590,000 m2 building area. Presently reliant on a central natural gas burner to meet heating demands at a rate of 165 kW/m2, the hospital emits a staggering 21,068 tons of CO2 annually.

Calor-e emerges as a transformative solution, offering a paradigm shift in the hospital's heating infrastructure. By seamlessly integrating Calor-e Units as either support units or primary heating sources, the hospital not only reduces its reliance on natural gas but also curtails its annual CO2 emissions significantly. This transition not only enhances energy efficiency but also underscores Calor-e's crucial role in fostering a sustainable and environmentally conscious approach within vital institutions like hospitals, contributing to a cleaner and healthier future for both patients and the planet.
